Overview
Malikki is a classified ad listing platform used in Pakistan for buying, selling, renting, and discovering services. The platform was originally built on the codebase and UI patterns of sahibinden.com — Turkey's largest online classifieds platform with 62.8 million monthly users. My role was to transform the Turkish-oriented interface into a modern, English-language experience tailored for the Pakistani market.
My Role
Worked on-site in Islamabad under MPN, responsible for UI localization and modernization.
- Redesigned and rebuilt the user interface from the original Turkish layout to a clean, modern English-language experience
- Localized UI components, navigation flows, and content structure for the Pakistani market
- Fixed existing UI bugs and inconsistencies inherited from the original codebase
- Modernized visual design patterns, typography, and layout to meet contemporary UX standards
- Ensured responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
